One Winston-Salem mom finally had enough of her disrespectful, out-of-control children, and she's currently on strike!
Leading the one-woman march, Naasira Muhammad says she is on a strike from parenting because of her two daughters' bad behavior. Although she tries to provide the best she can for her kids, their misbehaving finally pushed her over the edge. So, for the last few days, the mother has been walking up and down her street, holding a sign that reads "Mom On Strike."
"I'm to the point where I'm just so frustrated, so to keep my hands off my kids or to keep me from doing something crazy, I just decided to go on strike," Muhammad told WFMY News. "My children have everything that they could possibly want and need, but yet still, they are disrespectful… They think they can survive without me, so I said, you know what? That's fine. This mom is going on strike."
This mom is definitely sending a bold message to her kids. It's unclear if the family has worked through their problems, but the children's aunt forced them to make a sign of their own, which reads: "Thank you mom for providing for me, caring for me, and loving me."
