Her Fiancé Dumped Her Via Text Message, Then She Got Revenge On Live TV

We can all agree that being dumped is one of the least fun things that can happen to someone. However, being dumped over text message by your fiancé? Now that's got to be especially miserable.

Unfortunately, that's exactly what happened to 30-year-old Brenna Clanton, whose fiancé broke up with her via text message recently. According to Sports Daythe hair stylist got the fateful text while she was at work in October, four months after their engagement.

To add insult to injury, Brenna had just splurged on Dallas Cowboys football tickets as a Christmas present for her and her husband-to-be. The game was scheduled for the day after Christmas, and, being engaged, Clanton had every reason to believe her fiancé would be around to enjoy the tickets.

Of course, that isn't what ended up happening: Clanton's fiancé's would not be around to enjoy the game or the Airbnb that she had booked for them.

Luckily, that did not stop the 30-year-old from repurposing the Christmas gift.

Instead of staying home, Clanton, who is a former cheerleader, told Sports Day she decided to "have some fun with it." She even made a sign to get back at him.

The sign spelled out his alleged reasoning for the split, which was that the couple had "nothing in common."

She knew her former fiancé would be watching the game and that her sign would be noticed.

One person who helped Clanton's sign get noticed is the editor in chief of the Oxford EagleAlex McDaniel, who Tweeted about the incident.

Turns out that the Cowboy's won that night… and so did Clanton.

The reaction from anyone who saw her sign was overwhelmingly in favor of her getting this little bit of revenge.

Turns out that Clanton is a life-long Cowboys fan, too, so the tickets certainly did not go to waste by any means.
