They Told Her She Couldn’t Dance. But Instead Of Backing Down, She Stood Up With THIS Message!

Dayna Dobias is a teen with cerebral palsy, aka CP, which is a set of permanent movement disorders that become apparent in childhood.

Those who have CP usually experience stiff and weak muscles, poor coordination, tremors, and difficulty speaking.

However, that doesn't mean that people who have the disorder can't lead perfectly happy lives. While they may have a set of unique obstacles (and who doesn't), there's no discernible reason to make assumptions or place limitations on what these individuals can and can't do.

Unfortunately, teenager Dayna hasn't been treated with such dignity, but she has some strong words for those who doubt her.

Not everyone is as fearless as Dayna (or Austin Niehus who proudly declared he loved the way he looked, despite how others treated him, and Lauren Casper, who deals with negative comments about her adopted children of a different race), but her courageous speech instills incredible inspiration and bravery.

She begins her message on The Mighty, "Throughout my life, people have bullied me because of the way I walk. They’ve made assumptions about me because of my condition. I’d like to hopefully inspire others to do what they love, despite what others think of them."

Having the courage and conviction to publicly confront bullies is difficult for any adult, let alone a teenager.

I think Dayna will definitely inspire others, she certainly has inspired me. SHARE if Dayna has inspired you, too.
