10 Amazing World Records That Are Firmly Held By Women

Throughout history, women have often been treated as the "weaker" or "gentler" sex. While men and women are built differently, we are capable of just as many incredible feats and accomplishments.

Women have been trying hard to push their way into male-dominated fields for centuries. Be it in the office or in the sports arena, we've made great strides in recent history. While there is still so much work to be done for equality, we should always remember to celebrate all that women have already achieved.

One fun way to do this is to look at all the world records held by women. Seeing the areas where women have risen to the top is truly inspiring.

These 10 women hold amazing world records, from living longer than anyone else in history to crushing the most watermelons between their thighs. Let's all take a moment to recognize the amazingness of these ladies from the past and present.
