The invention of the camera has completely changed the way we can view history. Paintings are all well and good, but for those people in history who started from the very bottom, it would have been far too expensive to see them as a child.
But a picture is worth a thousand words, and as the cost to freeze a moment in time for all eternity got cheaper and cheaper, we now have the opportunity to see some of the most powerful world leaders of all time before they managed to crawl to the top of the heap like George Washington!
From president of a democratic republic to dictator of a fascist regime, these leaders all have one thing in common with each other, and even with you: They all used to be children.

One of the most infamous world leaders of all time, Hitler was responsible for the mass death of over 6 million jewish people in the worst atrocities in the history of the world. Hopefully we'll always remember this man, ensuring that history never repeats itself.
He pretty much looks exactly like this today.
