Watch Japanese Dance Group Wrecking Crew Orchestra’s Amazing Visual Effects Routine

There are plenty of great dance groups out there, but once you watch a lot of routines, it's hard to be surprised even by the most talented teams. That all changed when Japanese dance group Wrecking Crew Orchestra turned off the lights and turned on the talent. Once I saw this unbelievable performance, I couldn't get it out of my head!

There are only eight members of WCO, but watching them on stage, it seems like there are way more. The way they light up and disappear makes everything they do look so surreal! The last time I saw a light show this spectacular was when Jennifer Lopez's dress transformed right before our very eyes as she sang this beautiful song. Whoever is in charge of all the cool visual tricks sure deserves some major credit!

Of course, even the most awesome visual effects would be nothing without the jaw-dropping talent of these dancers. Their crisp movements and rhythm remind me a lot of when Zendaya performed an unforgettable hip-hop routine on Dancing With the Stars at age 16. It's no wonder these guys have fans all over the world! They really know how to take a dance crew performance to the next level.

There were so many amazing moments in this performance that I was saying "Wow!" right along with the members of the audience. But at 3:07, the magic really begins. I was left thinking about this routine for hours after I watched it. To me, that's exactly the effect that good performance art should have on its audience. I'd love to see WCO live one day!
