Accidents happen — breaking a leg or an arm is certainly understandable.
When it does happen, hopefully the pain isn't long-lasting, and hopefully the injured person is able to rapidly make a full recovery.
If someone did, in fact, break their arm, or if they have damage to an organ, or if they're internally bleeding, the X-ray is an incredible tool that has certainly saved countless lives over the past century. However, from time to time, a doctor has to keep it as professional as possible as a patient hobbles into their office asking for help.
These X-rays show that humanity, at times, isn't the smartest species on the planet, and has been known to put things were they don't belong…or swallow things that they shouldn't. Luckily, none of the people in these X-rays suffered any permanent damage, though their pride was probably hurt a bit.
We can only hope that they've all learned their lesson and now think twice before swallowing too many pennies, or putting children's toys in places they weren't designed to go…
