During a Penn State Nittany Lions college football game, star defensive end Torrence Brown suffered a season-ending injury.
But he received an outpouring of support, including a heartwarming gesture from a young man named Zack.

According to 21-year-old Kacie Hay, Zack's friend — who also works with him in a fitness walking program at the university — Zack loves all the athletes at Penn State: "When we walk to class, he makes sure to say hi to each one he sees."
It was on one of those chance encounters that Zack first met Torrence. "Ever since then, Torrence has made sure that if he saw Zack he stopped to talk to him," she said.
So when Zack found out about Torrence's injury, he knew he had to do something.

Zack decided to get Torrence some cookies — made by Kacie's mom — along with a handwritten note that said, "Feel better, from Zack."

And when Zack finally saw Torrence and gave him the cookies, their meeting was absolutely heartwarming. "Torrence actually stood up on his scooter (with a bad knee) to give Zack a big hug and to thank him," Kacie said.

When Zack and Torrence hugged, Kacie took a photo and posted it on her Twitter.
And it quickly went viral!

People everywhere were moved by Kacie's photo and the story behind it, with users even brought to tears!

Many users described Zack-and-Torrence's moment as "previous" and "beautiful."

Even Torrence himself retweeted the photo with the caption, "My man Zack really made my day!!"
