Just like cats and dogs, pet parrots need to get plenty of "beauty sleep," too. While most species of parrots sleep standing with one foot up, some have the ability to sleep laying down, like Zaro, the star of this next video.
The adorable parrot in the video below is ready to relax after a long day of singing, dancing and chatting with mom. Zaro climbs up on his owner's lap and is ready to catch a few Z's.
His owner gently pets him and rubs the bird's head. The sleepy parrot make the cutest noises, and you can tell he's drifting off to sleep.

Seeing Zaro and his owner cuddle and snuggle before bedtime is just the best! With the right home, parrots have the potential to make excellent and affectionate pets. In no time, these birds can blend right into the family and bond with their owners.
