Specially Designed Rolling Pins Create Beautifully Patterned Baked Goods

Making cookies is great. It's at once fun and meditative, and at the end, you have cookies!

But if you're like most people, your cookies, while delicious, are probably not always the prettiest. There's nothing wrong with that, of course, but sometimes, seeing those gorgeous concoctions at the bakery makes you think, "I wish I could do that."

But realistically, unless it's your profession, most of us simply don't have the time, or the materials, to create the stunningly decorated cookies like these swoon-worthy frosted Valentine's Day treats. So what can you do?

You call upon artisan crafter Zuzia Kozerska, that's what you do!

Zuzia crafts a seriously game-changing tool when it comes to creating fancy cookies in no time at all, thanks to her clever take on the rolling pin.

Using local wood sourced from her home in Poland and a laser cutter, she crafts carved rolling pins that leave behind an embossed pattern in the dough as you roll, creating amazing textured cookies that look complex — but aren't at all!

Check out some of the designs she's created and see if one of these pins is in your cookie-making future!

Each of her pins is embellished with a cute pattern, which has been precisely carved with a laser cutter. The detail and variety are really amazing!

With a single pass over some dough, the pattern is transferred, creating this cute embossed pattern right onto your cookies. And with that, your decorating is done!

Once the dough is rolled out, you simply cut out and bake the cookies as normal, and you have bakery-worthy treats with minimal effort! Oh, and they also work for pie shells and fondant, too.

And she has many different designs in her shop for all occasions, ranging from classic to modern to seasonal.

What's more, Zuzia makes these rolling pins herself, using locally sourced wood, all individually laser-carved and hand-coated in protective, food-safe oil.
