Here in New York, it's easy to get distracted by all the animals that share space with us. Between the squirrels, the rodents, and the pigeons, most people agree that it's not very desirable to have them in your home.
But when I think about all the other kinds of animals that can end up in your house, I count my lucky stars that rats and some bugs are the only ones here in the city. Elsewhere, such as in Australia, much more frightening animals can break in, including snakes and huge spiders that can be poisonous.
Sunshine Coast Snake Catchers 24/7 is only one organization that can come to your house and remove a snake. Catchers often post pictures of the animals hidden in plain sight to warn homeowners that these animals can curl up anywhere.
In the latest photo, a snake catcher named Dan tells the story about how he thought there was only one python in a client's garage. But then he realized that there were too many scales and that there was really a pair of pythons in the box!

A snake catcher named Dan posted a photo of a snake in a garage on the Sunshine Coast Snake Catchers 24/7 Facebook page, daring people to try to find the animal in the picture.

It may have been a daunting task for some, but for others, it was a breeze.

Dan wrote on Facebook:
I was called to a Cooroy home, where the resident had noticed a snake in their garage.
Upon arrival, there seemed to be a lot of scales for one snake. Further investigation revealed what was a breeding pair!
This photo was taken after one snake was removed, as I didn’t realise there was 2 until I started to move the 1st one.

Snakes are notorious for hiding in plain sight, using their surroundings to camouflage themselves.

In this photo, there is a green python hiding in a plant. Can you see it?

One would assume that this is just a photo of a pile of leaves. However, there is a copperhead camouflaged by the brown leaves.

Homeowners who live in areas where snakes are prominent also have to be careful, as the animals can sneak in where you don't want them, like near this crib.

Of course, when out in nature or even your own backyard, just be careful where you're stepping!
