When You See What She Built For Her Disabled Dog, Your Heart Will MELT!

When puppy Abigail was diagnosed with megaesophagus, her outlook could have been grim. When animals have the disease, the esophagus stays enlarged and does not push the food down to the stomach. Because of that, Abigail cannot swallow food without sitting in a highchair during and after eating.

Unwilling to give up on Abigail, her forever family banded together to give her all the extra care she needs and made her a highchair. Since then, the puppy has regained her happiness and is finally able to eat and digest food healthily.

"She is fine as long as she uses the highchair for eating," her owner Deborah Komar told LittleThings. "The other day during dinner she decided to play peek-a-boo. So cute, and not bad for a pound puppy!"

In the video, Abigail sits in her high chair and plays several rounds of the childhood game of peek-a-boo. It's so sweet! You can tell there is so much love in this household. Every dog deserves to be treated like this.

I love seeing people go above and beyond for their pets. Their love for us knows no bounds, so the more we can reciprocate, the better!
