Have you ever found a baby deer on your property?
If you do find a baby deer calmly lying down, leave her be! The mother only visits the fawn a few times a day to feed her, as to not draw attention and therefore danger to the baby. Only intervene if you are absolutely sure that the mother is dead.
If a baby deer approaches you, then there's nothing you can really do except enjoy the moment! Let the deer explore her surroundings, but don't touch her or try to manipulate her in any way.
These fawns all followed their curiosity when they met other animals, and it's all too cute. They're such cuddly little creatures, aren't they? It's always so amazing to see members of the animal kingdom – including humans – getting along like this, don't you think?
