When Moses was only 2 days old, he fell from his tree and was abandoned by his mother. This would have meant certain death, if not for a very unlikely rescuer: a dog. Judy Avey-Arroyo — the director of the Sloth Sanctuary in Costa Rica — was shocked when her dog carried the baby sloth (named Moses) to her after finding him on the ground!
