Little Puppy Left In A Hot Car Gets Saved By Two Amazing Police Officers

Two Kansas city police officers are being hailed as heroes after going above and beyond the call of duty in order to save a small life.

It all started on a particularly hot summer's day when Officers Jeff O’Rear and Erik Winter suddenly received a call informing them that a puppy in distress had been abandoned in a car.

When the officers arrived on scene, a crowd of people had already surrounded the vehicle. The two officers looked through the window and saw some movement, seeing how desperate the situation was they smashed the glass and broke into the car to get to the little animal.

The tiny puppy was on the brink of death: laying on his back, suffering from seizures and heat stroke, the cops quickly picked him up and, with sirens blaring, rushed to the local PetSmart for assistance.

It turned out that the little puppy had been trapped in the car for over two hours, and by the end of his ordeal his body temperature was nearing 108 degrees. The fact that he survived is nearly unbelievable, but thankfully, thanks to everyone's hard work, this little angel got a second chance at life!

To make this story even sweeter, officer O'Rear did something with the little unnamed puppy that is filling everyone's hearts with joy. Wait until the end of the video to see where they found a home for this little pooch!
