A few weeks away from family may be a welcome time period for you or I, but to a tiny puppy, it might as well be forever.
Before seeing the precious reunion in this next video, I have to admit I never wondered whether or not my dogs missed — or even remembered — their true families. When you adopt a puppy, people tend to assume the tiny dog won't remember their mom, dad or siblings, but what happens in family reunions like this one has me thinking they don't forget a thing.
Baku is a gorgeous, 15-week-old pit bull puppy who was adopted and hasn't seen his mom or siblings in about 7 weeks. Unlike many dogs who never, ever get to see their "family" again, Baku is pretty lucky that his new owner is willing and able to bring the tiny pit bull by the home that she first got him from.
My first reaction was that there was no way the little pup would remember the other dogs, but as you can see in the following video, there is no denying he remembers them very well.
