Charlie the beagle and Laura the baby are best friends. Like many dog–baby duos, they are inseparable. And their mom has captured their antics on video time and time again. This time, in the video below, Laura's crib transforms into a ball pit, courtesy of Charlie.
This is one smart, well-trained beagle.
The video begins with Charlie staring straight at his mom, who's holding the camera.
There's a bag of colorful balls right next to the pup.
Once she gives him the OK, Charlie gets to work!
He shoves his nose into the bag, grabs a green ball, and gently lets it fall into Laura's crib, where it rests gently underneath her little chin.
But Charlie isn't done.
The pup excitedly keeps bringing the baby girl more and more balls, and she seems rather curious as to what's going on, but amused at the same time.
Eventually, Charlie decides there's no point to the bag before swinging it to and fro, releasing every ball inside and sending them scattering across the floor.
Realizing what he's done, he looks into the camera as if to say "Sorry about the mess, but I've got a job to do."
He continues on, piling balls into the crib of Laura, who at this point has a wide smile on her little face.
Once he's done, he looks into the camera again, as if saying "Did I do a good job?"
