A Beagle on TikTok has gone viral for having a relatable reaction to The Lion King. Gabrielle Pelfrey, from Dayton, Ohio, says her dog appears to connect with the movies he watches and has emotional reactions to what he sees on screen, reported Fox News. She told the outlet that her dog is a "sensitive little guy," and the videos she has shared on TikTok prove it. The Beagle, Winston, has watched Mamma Mia!, 101 Dalmatians, Marley & Me, and Old Yeller, among other popular films.
The Lion King is one of his favorites.
Gabrielle shared a video on TikTok of Winston reacting to Disney's 2019 live-action version of The Lion King. The video has now been watched more than 7.5 million times. In the video, Winston watches the film on the big screen for the first time — and his reaction was very (understandably) emotional.
TikTok users empathized with the pup as he jumped at the screen as Simba cried for help, and started barking when Scar came out. Gabrielle said she had to hold her dog back when Scar came out because he seemed so upset, and she had to give him snacks to calm him down.
TikTok users could relate to the way Winston was "anxiously eating snackies while intently still watching the movie " and "stress eating."

"He's so real for barking at scar and then eating after ," one TikTok user commented.
