Some animals take to training and listening to commands extremely well, while others just run around willy-nilly wherever they want doing whatever they want. I'm always amazed at the dogs that run in competitions and dog shows, as they seem to be able to fully grasp whatever their humans tell them.
The Italian greyhound in the below video, for example, seems to have learned how to take commands from its human extremely well and, as a result, has one really hilarious party trick.
It's hard to hear what she says to her dog in the video, but it sounds like she says, "Ready? Ready?" and then the dog finally does what she wants him to, it is so funny.
"Ready? Ready?"
Seconds later, the dog's tongue comes flying out of its mouth in the silliest way I've ever seen. It just hangs there like a tiny appendage before the greyhound pulls it back in.
This cute dog is so good at this trick, in fact, that it's almost difficult to tell if its actually a real dog or if it's some type of robot that simply looks like a dog.
The tongue pops in and out so precisely that it reminds me of the action figures I played with as a kid. You would press a button on their back and the tongue would pop in and out of their mouths.
Cyborg or real pooch, it doesn't matter to me; this video is a great way to grab a few laughs as I start my day. (For the record, I think it's a real dog, but it is tough to tell!)
