Birds don't need help actually putting their nests together, but when they're looking for supplies, they sometimes will look to interspecies teamwork.
In the video, curated from America's Funniest Home Videos, a tiny bird is in search of materials for its nest. That's when it spots a fluffy Australian shepherd lounging in the sun.
The bird sneaks up on the elderly pup, named Cindy, and starts plucking the dog's hair to make a nest. When the dog's owners begin to laugh in the background, the dog just looks at them serenely.
This dog has no cares in the world and seems completely unaware that the bird is making a nest out of her fur. This dog is perfectly happy to share and help the bird. But you have to give it up for this tiny bird because it's pretty bold to pluck that much hair from an unsuspecting animal. The bird got away unscathed, with many strands of the gentle giant's fur.
Aren't old dogs just the best? They are just so laid back and chill — and couldn't care less if a sneaky bird is plucking the fur off his lower back.
