These Black Market Rescue Animals Are Finally Happy — And Glamorous

Unfortunately, there are some people out there who illegally sell and trade exotic or banned animals on the black market.

This often leads to poor living conditions for the animal and an unhealthy, unfulfilling life.

Luckily, an Agua Dulce, California-based animal sanctuary called Animal Tracks is doing everything they can to right some wrongs. They teamed up with photographer Natasha Wilson of De Anastacia Photography to create some truly stunning images.

When asked about how the project — called Where the Wild Things Are  — works, Natasha told LittleThings, "The animals from the shoot were not forced to participate under any circumstance. We had a studio set up, and with their caretaker next to them, they were allowed to decide if they wanted to enter the studio or not.

"Once inside, the model was handed treats and goodies so that the animal could get comfortable next to the model, and then were photographed accordingly. I didn't pose any of the animals, I just wanted them to be as natural as possible — and the interactions that were created by having such a lax environment created some really magical images!"
