Bruce the Pit bull came to Best Friends Animal Society in January 2013 from a shelter in Colorado, where he had already been for over a year. Bruce, like many Pit bulls, have a more difficult time getting adopted because of the negative generalizations of the breed. But these stereotypes about Pit bulls are dead wrong.
In hopes of getting this silly and adorable dog adopted, the loving caretakers at Best Friends decided to try a new approach. Best Friends gave Bruce the best day ever — which included getting his very own ball pit!
In the cute video, Bruce leaps into the ball pit and even plays catch. Couldn't you just watch this adorable Pit bull play all day? He's having a ball! It's easy to see why he'd be the perfect pet for the right family. Bruce the Pit bull is one silly pup with a lot of energy!
According to their website: "Best Friends Animal Society is the only national animal welfare organization focused exclusively on ending the killing of dogs and cats in America's shelters. Since its founding in 1984, Best Friends has helped reduce the number of animals killed in American shelters from 17 million per year to about 4 million."
