This Dog Is Teaching Other Dogs How To Do The Unthinkable With Their Noses!

Most dog owners know that there's a reason these loyal creatures are called "man's best friend." They'd truly do anything to help protect their human companion, and beautiful Daisy the Labrador has made that instinct into a living.

Daisy has saved hundreds of lives by detecting over 550 cases of cancer.

Labradors are known for their keen sense of smell, but instead of hunting animals, Daisy hunts cancer cells. She's been trained by Dr. Claire Guest of Biggleswade, Bedfordshire to smell certain chemicals in blood and urine that appear when cancel cells are apparent. While modern medicine increasingly relies on advancements in technology, Daisy's natural instinct has a staggering 93% accuracy rate.

Even Dr. Guest herself has Daisy to thank for saving her own life. While the brilliant pup typically detects the cancer cells by sniffing medical samples, Daisy notified her owner that something was wrong by nuzzling against her chest. Dr. Guest realized something was wrong when Daisy wouldn't quit nuzzling.

Further tests showed that Dr. Guest had early stage breast cancer. Without Daisy there to warn her, she might have waited too long to see a doctor!!
