When you're feeling bored at a barbecue, you do what any other person would do: cover your cat in grass.
Bubbles' owner must have been in one of those “let's see if my cat will allow this” moods during a neighbor's backyard barbecue. He, along with some friends that were attending, piled thick blades of green grass onto Bubbles' body and most of his head.
Ultimately, Bubbles the ordinary house cat was transformed into “Camouflage Cat”. Bubbles seemed unfazed by his new disguise, accepting it fully.
Here's where the excitement really starts.
Bubbles' owner's neighbor also owned a cat, and a very fluffy one at that. The neighbor's cat, Marmite, slowly entered the yard, having to lift his arms and legs high to trek through the tall blades of grass around him.
He was making his way across the yard, completely missing the protruding green lump that was laying beside him. Just like Pedro the sneaky cat, Bubbles seemed to enjoy hiding.
When Marmite turned his head slightly to his left, he quickly spotted Bubbles in all of his “Camouflage Cat” glory.
Suddenly, Marmite jumped and jolted backwards as Bubbles popped up from his sitting position on the ground. You could almost hear Bubbles meow, “Surprise!”
The shocked cat turned his head to the camera with the most expressive face. What a reaction!
He then turned back to Bubbles, who was still covered in grass. At this point, Marmite was done. He slowly backed away and made his way out of the yard, looking back at Bubbles to ensure that there wouldn't be any more surprises coming his way.
