It's not often that you see a cat dad snuggling up with his babies, but on occasion, it does happen!
A lot of the time, when folks don't spay or neuter their animals, the females come home pregnant, leaving the owner with no way of knowing who the father is or where they could have come from. Mothers are the ones to do the kitten-rearing for the most part, anyway.
However, there is the occasional cat dad that will stick around for the babies — and even show some fatherly instincts.
