Tiny Rabbit Becomes A Cereal Star After Being Featured On A Box Of Cheerios

Did you know that rabbits love cereal just as much as us humans?

Probably, if you remember all of those Trix commercials where the rabbit tries to steal kids' cereal. Well, silly rabbit, Trix aren't just for kids! They're for everyone!

One little animal just proved that rabbits can enjoy cereal too, from the front of the box! Chestnut the Champion is a 5-year-old Netherland dwarf rabbit and contest winner.

Chestnut beat out a nation of bunnies to win the General Mills rabbit showdown cereal contest. Chestnut's prize is the front cover of a commemorative box of Honey Nut Cheerios.

Chestnut's mom, Natasha Barbely, entered Chestnut in the contest with an adorable video proving the tiny bunny is very strong. Chestnut lifted weights for her video with a Katy Perry song playing in the background.

The contest was started to celebrate the fact that 90 percent of General Mills cereals, like Trix and Cinnamon Toast Crunch, are free of artificial flavors and colors. Chestnut beat out hundreds of other rabbits to win this incredible prize! The contest is celebrating that, like rabbits, their cereal is good for everyone!
