Whoever thinks cats and dogs can't be friends needs to see this adorable twosome.
Move over, Chip and Dale, there's a new munchkin duo in town! Chip, a 5-week-old Chihuahua puppy, and Adele, a 4-week-old kitten, both had a rough start in life, but as you can see in the following video, things are quickly getting better for these tiny sweethearts. Chip and Adele were both orphaned at birth and were paired up at the no-kill animal shelter Operation Kindness, located in Dallas, TX.
After a video of the two newborn pals surfaced on Facebook, requests two adopt the adorable babies came pouring in. Once you see how obsessed they are with each other, you'll understand why the rescue center refused to separate the unlikely pair. Luckily for Chip and Adele's thousands of online fans, their new adoptive family has been posting updates to the Facebook page that was created to find them the best possible home.
In the following video, Chip and Adele lovingly play-fight for a spot on the couch. If you grew up with siblings close to your age, you probably know exactly how this scenario goes. These two couldn't be any more precious and I think you'll agree that their story is a pretty inspiring one.
