Dad Throws His Dachshund Puppy A Ball, But This Is No Ordinary Game Of Fetch!

We’ve seen plenty of pets that are capable of truly extraordinary things, but dogs who take an interest in sports? That’s a semi-rare breed of animal.

We've seen a golden retriever named George who wears a Minnesota Wild jersey and enjoys watching hockey just as much as his human dad, bouncing around the television and getting super hyped when the announcers shout words of encouragement (something he probably learned from watching his family).

Another beagle pup named Purin learned how to play soccer with his human family (complete with puppy-sized soccer balls). And he’s so good at blocking any goals in front of his tiny soccer net!

But our newest pro athlete takes shape in a petite dachshund who loves playing hockey. A small hockey goal was tunneled into a snowbank, and every time his dad bumps the ball toward the tunnel, the puppy scoops it up in his mouth, borrows through, and then brings the ball back to play again! You won’t believe how cute it is!

The best part is you don't even have to be a sports fan to appreciate how adorable these dogs are! They make sports a spectator activity for everyone.

Please SHARE this precocious pup if you think all dogs can learn new tricks…
