You know what the best kind of surprise is? An actual surprise — you know, not the “oh, I had a feeling” or the “I saw the box in your room so…”
The sensation of being taken by shock is an adrenaline rush, for sure, and the response a person gives as a result is so real and raw. Take this dad, who found out that after having five girls he was finally going to have a baby boy. You just can't make this stuff up!
In the video below, posted on February 8, 2017, this daughter runs up to her dad with a cardboard box — excited to give him the ultimate surprise.
She says the package came in the mail, but Dad is already confused at the sight of it, since it's already been ripped open from the top.
He peeks inside, leaning closer and closer as what's lingering inside the box dawns on him. Dad is in such disbelief that he has to take off his sunglasses, and finally reaches into the box while saying, “Aww, you didn't.”
Inside the cardboard box is a brown German shepherd puppy, and you can tell from the reaction of this dad that he's wanted one for a long time.
It doesn't take long for him to get emotional, holding the puppy close to his heart and snuggling him til there's no tomorrow. There is no way this guy is ever gonna let his new pup go!
