Seven-month-old Bambi was born deaf, but thanks to a very smart human mom, he has a second chance at a great life!
Since adopting Bambi, Olivia's owner has been teaching him sign language and, according to her, he's been passing all his tests with flying colors!
"For the most part we use ASL," Olivia wrote on the video. "He’s learning quickly and knows a few other signs that I did not show in the video. For example, by signing ‘where’ plus a name he knows to go look for someone/something specific.”
I love it when people take on special needs animals and help them adjust to the world. These animals want love and affection just as much as any "regular" pup or cat does, they just need some extra time and attention. I just want to thank Olivia and all owners like her who put in the effort to give their pets the kind of life they truly deserve!
