Animals sometimes find their way into strange places, and it's up to us to help them back into the wild when they're too frightened to get out. We share space with different types of larger animals, such as deer, and sometimes even moose.
It's usually best to stay away from them, as to not harm them or ourselves. However, there are times when action is needed.
A Kentucky Walmart shopper felt this way when a doe accidentally found herself in the store roaming the aisles with other shoppers. Rebecca Patterson stepped in to calm her down, but she was the only one. Her mother saw all the people watching and yelled, "Help her with the deer!"
It seems that Rebecca did a good job all by herself. She managed to keep the deer calm until rescuers and officers arrived on the scene to help out. They took over the situation and hauled the animal into their vehicle.
The escorted the doe to the woods, her natural habitat, and captured on camera the moment she leapt and bounded back into the wilderness, as if nothing had ever happened!
What an incredible sight for shoppers that day. Have you ever witnessed something like this in person? How did you react? Let us know in the comments!
Please SHARE if you're glad Rebecca stepped up to save this beautiful creature!
