I remember when I first got my Boston terrier to sit on command for the first time — I was so proud and relieved he finally did it that I took his photo, I took a video, and I think I even called my mother to brag.

He's becoming more and more well-trained as the years go on, but I don't think he'll ever be ready for musical canine freestyle competitions.
These competitions feature the owner and their dog "dancing" to a piece of music. The dog must stay near the trainer and perform a series of obedience tricks in sequence. These competitions have been going on since 1989, and I'm pretty sure the dogs involved have reached the pinnacle of obedience training.
The performance featured in the video below is by far one of the most impressive I have ever seen. Set to "You're the One That I Want" from Grease, this dance is so fun, I could watch it over and over again! That dog is clearly having a blast, too. Just watch his tail wag.
