Given up by his previous family, Luke was dumped on the street and left to fend for himself. After months of struggling in the streets with no food or water, the dog had been reduced him to a mere shadow of what he previously was. That's when He'Art of Rescue, a non-profit animal rescue, spotted the poor pup and decided to get him the help he so desperately needed.
The dog had a frail body and shattered spirit when he arrived to the local vet. He was severely dehydrated and need immediate care. Under the watchful eyes of doctors, the dog underwent a series of tests to make sure he'd be ok. Luke never gave up and was a true fighter!
Today, the animal rescue released a new photo of Luke — and he looks like a completely different dog! It's incredible how well the dog has responded to his treatments. This dog lived on the streets for almost four months before he was rescued.
He was dehydrated and sick but had no where to go. That's when he was saved by He'Art of Rescue and given immediate veterinary care.
Under the watchful eyes of doctors, the dog finally had a safe place to recover.
Luke has overcome the odds and been responding well to treatments.
Look at him now! Today, Luke looks completely different! He is a very happy and healthy dog -- BUT he's still looking for his forever home.
