In the middle of a harsh winter, a heart-wrenching incident unfolded. A dog, seemingly abandoned and left to fend for itself, collapses in the freezing snow, being attacked by parasites, and deprived of food and warmth.
The Moho YouTube channel shared the story about Lunka, the 1-year-old dog who had been subjected to horrible cruelty. When he was found, he was lying in the snow, unable to move, sobbing. His body was covered in bruises and sores. On top of that, maggots started to appear feeding off him.
His rescuers scooped him up and wrapped him up in an old coat, trying desperately to give his little body warmth. They took him to get the help he needed to regain his strength.
Lunka went through a long period of treatment and worked hard to recover. Even though he was in a lot of pain, and it was a difficult process, Lunka never gave up.
During the process of his recovery, you can see just how skinny and feeble he is, but how hard he is trying to get better. You can easily see that he is strong and brave without even knowing this dog personally.
To help him get used to walking again, they had to put a harness on his back end to assist him with walking. The strength in his front legs was better than his back legs, so his little behind had trouble keeping up.
After a long 150 days, Lunka was finally able to run and jump around. Even though he still has trouble with his back legs, it doesn’t stop him from living his best life.
