Pet parents, have you ever wondered if your pet remembers their mother, father or siblings from when they were born?
Think about it. We take these tiny pups away from their families when they are really little. They must wonder where they came from and why they're not the same as humans. Experts say that dogs can remember their parents and also other dogs they've met over the years, even though it might not be obvious to us humans.
In this video we saw two siblings, who are now both guide dogs, reunited for the first time since they were tiny puppies. It's impossible not to smile when these dogs see each other again and the same goes for the following video, where we see 11-week-old Harper.
Still just a pup herself, Harper has been with her new family ever since she was really small. In the video, Harper's pet parents take her on a visit to meet with her mom again. When Harper gets out of the car, my heart just melted.
