This Scared Puppy Was Living A Nightmare. Then A Miracle Happened…

When The Humane Society of the United States and The ASPCA joined forces last summer to swoop in on what will later be known as the second-largest dog fighting raid in history, nothing could have prepare them for what they were about to find.

After a three-year investigation, the organizations seized 367 dogs in Alabama, Mississippi, and Georgia. Thirteen search warrants were executed and 10 suspects were arrested and later indicted on felony dog fighting charges.

According to the Humane Society, the conditions of these properties were heinous. There were animal remains on some of the properties, there were sick and injured dogs living in filthy makeshift houses, covered in scars and fleas, and had little to no access to food or water. For a lack of a better terms, these dogs were in hell.

Out of all those dogs, there was one dog that stood out.

His name, later to be known as Timmy Cooper, was just a baby when the raid occurred. He was found scared, hungry and with a giant chain wrapped around his neck. Timmy went through quite a transformation after being saved. He was cleaned up, socialized, received medical treatment, and the ever so important, TLC. Soon little Timmy Cooper was adopted and living the life that every dog should.
