They say that dogs are man's best friend, and even though this dog sitter isn't the official owner of this beautiful whippet, he perfectly shows exactly how close the bond between humans and dogs truly is!
Mom was leaving for a family vacation, but instead of taking her dog Skylar to an overnight shelter, she asked James Liakos to look after her four-legged baby. While she was certainly worried to leave little Skylar behind, Liakos did his best to let her know that she didn't need to worry.
Mom had a great vacation, and when she came back home she was overjoyed to see that little Skylar was totally fine. But right before James left, he gave her a little video to watch. And what mom saw left her totally blown away in the best way possible!
While we all hope that our dogs are kept well physically by the people we leave them with, it turns out that Liakos went above and beyond the call of duty in this case. The video that he made and edited showed just how happy Skylar was and how incredibly well the pup was taken care of, both physically and emotionally!
Liakos played with Skylar every single day, he took him for long walks, and constantly talked to the dog. Eventually, he started to tell Skylar just how much he loved him, and they even pretended to be in movies together, with Liakos whispering, "We're going to take over the world," before being viciously kissed on the face!
