As the video says, the petting stops when Rhux the puppy says it stops!
Rhux the miniature poodle puppy loves getting scratches. He loves it so much that he doesn't want it to end – ever. I love it when dogs and cats do this, because it really helps solidify my theory that animals are smarter and more empathetic than a lot of us have been taught to believe. Think about it – not only do our dogs and cats ask us for more pets and scratches when they want them, animals have actually been known to risk their lives for each other. Any being that risks its life for another is able to think and feel and love in a very creative way.
Yes, that's kind of deep for a simple and fun video like this, but every time I see a dog or cat asking for more scratches, I can't help but think it!
