There are so many stories out there that tell of heroic people saving the lives of abandoned animals in need of help — and Vet Ranch compiles them under one umbrella to serve as an inspirational hub of rescue stories.
We've seen so many different scenarios happen under the watch of these vets — from a blind kitten who played like normal in no time, to abandoned newborn puppies who got the proper care to grow and thrive.
In a video posted on March 9, 2016, we meet adorable little Ginger Snap — a dog who was left on the porch of a vet clinic wrapped tightly in a coat.
When this vet took the dog in and looked further into her condition, she was definitely concerned at what she discovered.
Ginger Snap had one ruptured eye that needed to be taken out immediately, a severely damaged hip, and overgrown fur that looked as though it weighed her down incredibly.
When the vet started cutting some of her hair back to investigate her eye, severe bruises and marks were exposed — a sad sight to see, indeed.
So the vet got to work on Ginger Snap's recovery. First, she took care of the dog's eye by surgically removing it. Then, it was time for hip surgery to help Sadie get back on her feet, quite literally. And finally, some serious TLC was in order for this sweet girl.
In the process, she got a full haircut that at first made her look a bit naked. But once it all grew in, Ginger Snap looked like a completely new dog — not to mention she felt absolutely great!
