The food truck phenomenon has spread from coast to coast in recent years, but you know America has officially become a food truck nation now that even pets are getting in on the carted cuisine.
A brilliant entrepreneur in Chicago has come up with the very best way to feed pets on the run. "Fido To Go" is the new food truck for dogs, the brainchild of Tracy Werner, who first owned a natural pet food market in the area.
According to the Fido To Go website, the food truck which recently opened a second location in San Diego is a "premier gourmutt food truck serving hand-crafted, gluten and allergen-free canine cookies & doggy ice creams/frozen yogurts!". Sounds delicious even by human standards! Let's hope more of these fantastic trucks pop up soon.

"Fido To Go" was created by Tracy Werner of Chicago, who wanted to get in on the food truck craze. Before this, she owned a natural pet food market!
The 'gourmutt' truck is the Nation's first original premier canine food truck "serving wholesome, gluten-free, sugar-free, handmade fresh baked doggy cookies, frozen yogurts, birthday cakes & more," according to their Facebook page.
The Fido To Go truck became such a hit in Chi-town that Werner opened a second truck in fabulous San Diego. Let's hope more pop up soon, dog owners and their pets are literally eating this idea up!
