This Elderly Woman Lay Unconscious For Days. Guess Who Saved Her Life.

A woman suffering from Parkinson's disease says she is alive today thanks to her two loyal companions.

Judy Muhe gets emotional when she talks about her two Golden Retrievers, knowing they recently risked their own lives to save hers. After a bad fall in her kitchen, the 76-year-old shattered her shoulder and bruised her skull. She was in and out of consciousness on the floor for two days, all the while her two dogs laid with her and kept her warm.

Muhe's Parkinson's makes the cold very dangerous for her. She fears if the dogs hadn't stayed with her, she would have died. Close friend, Kathy Jacobs, tried to contact Muhe and after two days she used a spare key to enter her home . The dogs led them right to their hurt owner.

The dogs and Muhe went two whole days without food or water. "Because of her injuries and the time she spent laying on the floor and dehydrating, and being with her Parkinson's, we probably would have lost her," Jacobs told ABC.

Muhe is so grateful for her furry angel friends and encourages everyone to be kind to their pets. "My guardians, yes. And I have no doubt they would do it again," she said.
