A Tiny Dwarf Stallion Was Neglected By His Mother But Soon Found His Forever Family

Have you ever opened yourself up to an unexpected opportunity that completely changed your family for the better?

This video story posted by Cuddle Buddies on YouTube shares the adoption story of a dwarf horse who was going to be put down when a woman named Faith stepped in and welcomed him into her family with open arms.

Faith got a call from someone with a breeding ranch who wanted to let her know that she had a dwarf horse who was just 3 days old and had been rejected by his mother, as he was too small and didn’t have a proper bite.

Faith simply couldn’t stand the thought of this little dwarf horse named Peabody never finding a proper home, so she drove across the country to bring him home to live with her family.

There were several challenges that Peabody faced due to his physical limitations, but Faith and her family did their best to help him along. She started feeding him from a bowl rather than a bottle due to his irregular bite. She also had special shoes made for him, as his legs were crooked and he needed a little extra help finding his footing.

Soon, he was running along Faith’s hardwood floors making all kinds of noise. He even got close to Faith’s two Frenchie dogs, Penelope and Bugsy, and even though the family described him as their “house horse,” it seemed likely that little Peabody thought he was just one of the dogs.

You can even catch a glimpse of some footage of Peabody and the Frenchies being called into the house for dinner as a threesome. And Penelope and Bugsy can be seen taking extra care and making sure not to bump him, as they know his legs aren’t quite as strong as theirs.
