One of my favorite things on the internet is the cat-vs-dog parody videos that pop up to perpetuate that old trope about the ongoing battle between the two species — and may it live on in the following video.
In it, we meet a conniving, short-legged cat named George who sets out to punk Banana the Pug. It goes something like this: Armed with rope and doggy kibble, we’re led to believe that George rigs a bowl to be pulled up over a tree branch. George waits for Banana to go for the bait, and then BOOM! He “pulls” the bowl out of reach! Hilarity ensues…
And this wouldn’t be the first time we’ve seen a cat go to extraordinary lengths to pull one over on an unsuspecting dog. We watched another pup get pranked by his cat roommate in a video we shared with you a few weeks back — again, the sneaky kitty was caught tampering with his food! And in yet another, we watched a heckled cat toss a pup into a pool after he’d tolerated too much of the bickering. But in all of them, we can’t help but laugh at how silly they are!
