Huge German Shepherd Snuggles Up To Tiny Prairie Dog, Then Softly Nuzzles Him With His Nose

Some may think that animals are only able to get along with their own respective species — but this is simply not true!

Many animals love making new friends, regardless if they look similar or not.

This is especially true for furry friends who have been put through the ringer in one way or another, or are kindred spirits with the same tough past, like these two elderly horses.

Animals that live together usually end up bonding as well.  it may seem like two types of pets would never interact under any circumstances, but if you make them live together, there's a good chance they'll become friends.

This is the case for Banksy the German Shepherd and Prince the prairie dog.

Taylor Williams and her husband's tiny rodent pet is pretty unconventional; how many people can say they have a pet prairie dog?

Although he is clearly much smaller than their dog, Banksy, the two have ended up forming a friendship.

There are instances in which the older Banksy has to put up with young Prince's crazy energy and occasional bites, but the two usually just enjoy cuddling one another.

They definitely prove that friendship comes in all different shapes and sizes.
