A lot of things change as we get older — our values, our priorities, our bodies — but one grandpa is proving that some things never change, namely our love for animals.
If you're an animal-lover, there's a good chance you can't remember a time in your life when you didn't love your furry friends.
This is definitely true for Jimmy.
Jimmy, who is an 85-year-old grandpa, lives in Puerto Rico with his lovely wife.
In their neighborhood, there are a lot of stray cats. Jimmy adores the kitties, always playing with them and trying to take care of them, though his wife would prefer if the cats would keep to their own space.
However, Jimmy felt bad for the cats and realized he had to help them.
Because he knew it would upset his wife, he started feeding them in an area where she doesn't spend much time: the toolshed in the back of the house.

Jimmy, 85, has always loved animals. However, his caring nature has recently gotten him in a bit of trouble.
Jimmy wanted to help out the neighborhood stray cats, so he started feeding them out by his toolshed where his wife wouldn't find out.
One of the cats got particularly attached to Jimmy, his granddaughter told The Dodo. The grandpa later realized that this particular cat wasn't exactly alone: she was pregnant and expecting soon!
Jimmy apparently approached his wife, asking if they could care for the pregnant cat and her babies. He got shot down.
Understandably, his wife didn't want a pregnant stray cat giving birth in their home (I can't say I blame her).
Instead of heeding her advice, though, Jimmy put the kitty in his toolshed, where she gave birth.
Once the cat gave birth, Jimmy was delighted to have a group of tiny kittens to take care of.
His wife still had no idea he was harboring fugitive cats in his shed, but Jimmy told his granddaughter, who posted about it on Twitter.
Three weeks after the birth of the kittens, Jimmy's wife found out about the litter.
She probably didn't appreciate that Jimmy had lied to her, but she was very understanding once she saw the kittens.
She agreed to let the kittens stay in the shed until they were old enough to find new homes, so really it's a win-win for Jimmy and the kittens.
And judging by their sweet relationship, I'd bet Jimmy's wife will forgive him pretty quickly.
