Old Homeless Man Dedicates His Life To Caring For Stray Dogs

"Kindness is serene when nothing is expected in return and a heart which doesn't differentiate between an animal and a human."

Get ready to meet an angel incarnate. Man of God is about Kamala, a 60-something man who has lived half his life without a home or source of income. What makes Kamala so incredible is that while most people wouldn't give him the time of day, he's a hero to the neighborhood's stray dogs. Though Kamala doesn't have a penny to his name, he dedicates himself to helping these animals survive every day by finding food for them before he even feeds himself. He collects plastic bottles off the train platforms, then uses the money he gets from the bottles to feed seven of the town's stray dogs, who visit him after midnight.

Despite his life of great hardship, notice Kamala is always smiling — especially when he talks about his canine companions.

Raj Sampad of Incendiary Films shot the documentary in 2014. Raj, in addition to sharing Kamala's touching story with the world, also organized an online fundraiser to raise money for Kamala and his pets.
