In my experience, working out with a friend or loved one is always better than working out alone.
When you have someone with you, it's much more motivating, you push yourself harder, and it is a more positive experience overall!
This can definitely be applied to gym visits, but is actually applicable to dog workouts as well!
In the video below, a husky named Max is busy completing his doggie physical therapy.
While there are many different types of pup physical therapy out there, this particular exercise involves walking in a treadmill submerged in water, which keeps the pup engaged while building up leg muscles.
What Max is doing definitely doesn't look easy.
As someone who hates running on a treadmill, even when it isn't submerged in water, I definitely sympathize with his struggle.
Fortunately he has his own workout buddy. It may not be living or breathing, but it definitely helps him keep up his momentum and finish his work out.
Between his jaws is a little rubber ducky. While the pup is busy pumping away, he is also chewing on his rubbery best buddy — it seems to motivate him to keep going!
