For over 10 years, Sonya, a Chow mix lived on the street in California, where the temperature often passed 100 degrees. When Jennifer and Patrick began feeding her, they called Hope For Paws and asked for help. “You can actually see her on Google Street View,” Jennifer said.

After Hope for Paws found Sonya and had her groomed, they discovered tumors, ingrown claws, and broken teeth. After several surgeries, Sonya moved in with her foster mom, Joan, while they tried to find her a forever home. It’s not hard to believe finding a forever home didn’t take long.
