This Iguana Running Away From Dozens Of Snakes Is The Most Nerve-Racking Moment In Nature

I think it is pretty safe to say most people are terrified of snakes.

Unlike dogs and cats, you don't need a "bad experience" with a snake to dislike them. Their fangs and general slithery style are enough to frighten just about anyone.

Even garden snakes, which my mother has told me time and time again are basically harmless, are terrifying to me. I'd never want to cross paths with any kind of snake.

With that in mind, I'm sure you're not surprised to hear that animals are afraid of them too.

During BBC Earth's Planet Earth II, the camera crew caught a moment that can only occur in nature and seems to be a rare feat. One unlucky iguana found himself stuck among a literal den of snakes.

According to BBC Earth, this type of behavior has never been caught on camera before. The iguana doesn't have to dodge just one snake. No, this iguana is literally running for his life from an entire herd of snakes.

I have never felt more pressure in my life to get out of somewhere than I did while watching this. You will honestly start to sweat, especially when he is caught by the snakes. But, somehow, this iguana is not going down without a fight. Can you make it through this video without squirming to death?
