Sometimes, the unexpected things are the best gifts of all. Like Koni. One day, a young woman on her way home from work saw a small stray dog eating trash in a Hollywood parking lot. The dog had such a bad ear infection it lost it’s hearing in one ear, and temporarily lost its vision. Koni’s hair was painfully matted, and she was covered in sores and fleas. And she was trembling with fear.
One of the lines in this video says that Koni didn’t know it was her lucky day. True, but I think it was her rescuer’s lucky day, too. There are few things in life that put a bigger smile on the face than seeing an animal cared for and loved. And look at that wagging tail, now!
